Marla zumFelde ('11) twice honored; Krysten Parson to coach

Bethany girls basketball player Marla zumFelde has been selected to participate in two all-star games inspring 2011 and Bethany's coach, Krysten Parson, has been selected to coach in one of those.

March 25 Champions of Character will mix together some of the best players in the Elkhart County area for an all-star game at Goshen College. This is the second year that Marla has received this honor. The game begins at 7 p.m. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students. The game will be aired on The Globe 91.1 FM.

April 23 Post Your T East-West game in Noblesville. Bethany girls basketball coach Krysten Parson was selected to co-coach this game.

Marla finished her career at Bethany with 897 points, third best behined Jill (Troyer '89) Miller and Kari Heusinkveld ('08). She was also third all-time with 74 three-point baskets, 35.7 three-point percentage, and 69.2 free throw-percentage.
