Students give back to community.

Seniors Jesse Ramer and Seth Kauffman use construction skills to help side a building.High school students spent Wednesday, May 12, giving back to the community by serving local non-profit agencies, while 6th and 7th gradel students did various service projects for local congregations on Friday, May 21.

Though students serve others regularly in other settings, this provides yet another opportunty to focus on others, to experience the joy of giving, to support our community, and to thank the many people who support Bethany students.

Some students, such as those working at siding a building, were able to learn or hone practical skills.

Varnishing shelves at AMBS.	At AMBS students worked in the library, varnished shelves, and worked on the grounds.
Stocking boxes at Feed the Children.	Filling soup mixes for Church Community Service's Soup for Success program. The group filled 275 spice packets and 285 soup packets and tied and packed 365 soup packets.
