1,000 Career Points

Kari Heusinkveld became the third player in Bethany history to score 1,000 career points--the second in girls basketball--and finished the season with 1,035. Others reaching 1,000 points for Bethany are 1989 grad Jill (Troyer) Miller who reached 1,188 points and 1997 grad Eliot Friesen at 1,146.

Earlier teammate Gwen Kelly set Bethany's girls basketball rebounding record, breaking 1999 grad Lisa Bergey Lehman's mark of 565. Kelly finished the season with 606 career rebounds.
