3 p.m. Sunday, May 25 Bethany Christian High School will hold its 54th annual commencement with 44 members of the class of 2008. The class has chosen "Welcoming Diversity" as a theme that describes their class.

Wes Bontreger, pastor of Yellow Creek Mennonite Church, will present the commencement address. Wes is a 1977 Bethany alumnus, long-time board member and chair, and parent of two current Bethany students.

Students speakers will be Elizabeth King and Alex Brew.

The valedictorian, salutatorian, and students recognized for leadership will be acknowledged in the ceremony.
