I
warmly welcome you to Bethany Christian Schools--a school where Christian growth
and learning go hand-in-hand.
Students
at Bethany enjoy many opportunities to develop their gifts in athletics, drama,
music, leadership, and academic competition. They experience the satisfaction
of serving others and develop friendships with other students and with teachers,
friendships that often last a lifetime.
Bethany
provides an extraordinary learning experience, within a community of Christian
faith. Whether you're a current or prospective student, parent, alumnus, or friend
of Bethany Christian Schools, I invite you to discover the Bethany difference!

Welcome from our SBA Co-Presidents
Welcome
to the Bethany website. This website is here to help
you learn about Bethany and what it can offer. Bethany
is a small community with a big heart.
The
small class sizes and openness of teachers add to a
great learning environment. Teachers are free to weave
faith into lessons. It is an environment where students
can feel free to ask questions that go beyond regular
classroom learning..
Something
unique to Bethany is chapel, which meets three times
per week. This is a time for students to praise, worship,
pray, sing, and grow together in our Christian faith.
The community chapels have proven to be very meaningful
for many students.
Opportunities
for extracurricular activities abound in a small academic
community such as Bethany. Some of these include publications
(yearbook and newspaper), music and drama (orchestra,
choir, jazz band, and musical and drama performances),
and clubs such as Chess Club, International Cultures
Club, Key Club, and Peace Society. Many athletic teams
are available for both boys and girls.
The
Student Body Association (SBA), the student government,
is the way in which students are represented at Bethany.
The SBA plans and organizes various activities for the
student body. These include, but are not limited to,
all-school parties, tailgating for athletic events,
and fundraisers.
This
year the SBA decided to sponsor two children through
Compassion International. This is a school-wide project;
all students are donating money toward this cause. The
children being sponsored are Robert from Tanzania and
Michelle from Ecuador. We feel that this is a great
project for our student body to take on.
Bethany
is a unique place for students to learn and grow together
in faith and their lives. Students here agree: Bethany
is the place to be! May God bless you.

Body Co-Presidents,
