Laura Schlabach ('06) placed third in the feature category of the collegiate division of the prestigious Hoosier State Press Association's annual journalism contest. Her award-winning article, "Bowing out with a sustainable flourish," about a local business that specializes in biodegradable caskets appeared in the April 15, 2010, issue of Goshen College's student-produced newspaper, The Record.
