The fall sports season had many highlights, including boys soccer winning sectional and conference championships, a boys tennis record for wins, district and all-state honors, and many other team and individual accomplishments. Varsity sports teams combined for a 60-33-4 record.

Boys Soccer: The Bruins defeated Wawasee 1-0 to win the Goshen sectional. The team lost to Northridge at regionals to fnish the season 13-5-2. The team also won its fourth consecutive conference championship. Junior Femi Hollinger-Janzen ranked first in the Michiana area in scoring and junior Drew Sylvester fourth. Femi was selected to the Indiana Soccer Coaches Assocation all-district team and selected to the all-state third team. He was also named the Northern Indiana Soccer Conference's player-of-the-year. In addition to Femi, four other players were named to the all-conference first team: seniors Aaron Stiffney, Joel Yoder, and Ben Bontreger, and junior Drew Sylvester. Senior Matt Weaver and sophomore goalkeeper Jeff Yoder were named to the second team. Earning all-state academic recognition were Ben Bontreger, James Helmuth, Jared Nussbaum, Jeff Yoder, and Joel Yoder.

School award winners included: Femi Hollinger-Janzen, MVP; Drew Sylvester, offensive MVP; Aaron Stiffney, defensive MVP; James Helmuth, most improved; Ben Bontreger, sportsmanship; Cody Yoder, JV MVP; and Corey Hochstetler, JV most improved.

Tennis: The boys tennis team set a school record with 18 wins (17 in the regular season) losing only to sectional champion Fairfield and to Columbia City. The wins included first-ever program wins over Northridge and Concord. No. 1 singles player Ben Mast was selected to the all-district team and earned academic all-state honors. School awards included: Seth Krabill, MVP; Andrew Snyder, JV MVP; Ben Mast, sportsmanship,; Wade Troyer, most improved; and Kyle Miller, coach's award. 

Girls Soccer: The Bruins lost to Westview in the first round of sectionals at East Noble and finished with a 9-7-2 record. Senior Sharisse Yoder was named to the conference first team (junior Emma Caskey to the second team) and finishes her career in fourth place in career scoring with 41 goals and 35 assists. She also was named MVP in the PostYourT.org Indiana 1A all-star soccer game as she led the East back from a 2-0 deficit to tie the West 2-2. Earning all-state academic honors were Sharrise Yoder, Emma Caskey, Gina Gautsche, Paige Wheeler, and Malaina Weldy. Earning school awards were: Sharisse Yoder, midfield MVP; Emma Caskey, offensive MVP; Malaina Weldy, defensive MVP; Heather Schwartz, most improved; and Gina Gautsche, sportsmanship.

Volleyball: The volleyball team lost to Lakewood Park Christian in five sets in sectionals and finished 16-13. The team won the Bethany Invitational, defeating Northridge, South Bend Riley, and Central Noble. School awards includedd: Marla zumFelde, offensive MVP; Mattie Lehman, defensive MVP; Mandy Schlabach, team player; Jama Yoder, spirit; Alena Yoder, sportsmanship; and JV MVP Jen Leichty. The team once again collaborated with Goshen to Spike Out Cancer, raising more than $3,000 to help in the fight against breast cancer.

Girls Cross Country: The team finished 10th out of 12 teams in the county sectional. The girls finished with a 3-2 record in dual matches. Jenae Hershberger was named the girls MVP while Eva Lapp, Ellie Schertz, and Lauren Hooley shared the sportsmanship award.

Boys Cross Country: The boys team finished 11th out of 12 teams in the county sectionals and finished the season 1-4 in dual matches. Jesse Bontreger was named the boys MVP and Ben Hochstetler was selected for the sportsmanship award.

Middle school sports: The volleyball A team fnished with a 7-5 record. The soccer A team fnished with a 10-7 record, outscoring its opponents 50-18 and shutting them out ten times! The team lost the Lakeland Christian Invitational to Westview on penality kicks after battling to a 0-0 tie in regulation. The cross country teams were less successful as a team with the boys finishing 1-5 and the girls 2-6. However both teams saw much improvement in times over the course of the season and the girls won the season-ending invitational at Stanley Clark!
