Coach's Head Shaved

Coach Ken Willems' Head Shaved: Two members of the cross country team put the finishing touches on giving Coach Ken Willems' a mohawk. At the beginning of the season, Willems had told the team they could shave his head if someone made all-state. Nothing more was said all season, but the night before frosh Ali Hochstetler was to run in the state competition, he heard a knock at his hotel room door and found the team and parents with clippers in hand. He agreed to let the team shave his head however they wanted and he would wear it for a week, if Ali made all-state (finish in the top 25). She finished 19th. >
