Applying for Financial Aid

Bethany’s commitment is to provide an outstanding educational experience and an excellent value—and to be financially accessible to families.

Families who view affordability as a determining factor for enrolling at Bethany are strongly encouraged to contact the Admissions Office with questions.

New students must first be accepted for admission to Bethany before applying for financial aid.

Bethany grants need-based financial aid to families based on an online assessment by TADS, an independent third party. TADS processes financial aid applications for independent schools across the country, using a comprehensive formula that takes into account family income, household size, and numerous other factors.

Priority deadline

March 15 is the deadline for priority consideration for financial aid. Applications received after March 15 will be considered if funds are available. For returning students, the final deadline for financial aid applications and all supporting documents is April 15.

Bethany reviews and awards financial aid grants each year based on family need and limited available school funds. Awards do not carry over from one year to the next.

How do I apply?

All families requesting financial aid must apply online at TADS.com each year and provide tax returns and other supporting documentation from the most recent tax year to TADS. Separate applications and tax documents may be required for both parents in divorced or separated situations.

At the end of the financial aid application at TADS.com, there is a $45 processing fee, paid to TADS online with credit or debit card. (An additional $19 fee is required for business income analysis for families with ownership in a corporation or partnership.)

After submitting your financial aid application at TADS.com, be sure to also submit all requested tax returns and supporting documents to TADS. These are required in order for your application to be considered complete.
