2011-12 Forensics Summary

 The 2011-12 team finished fourth at the IHSFA sectional speech tournament, highest in school history. The team also took fifth place in both the NWNFL Congress and Debate tournaments. During the regular season, the team was third at the Concord Winter Blast tournament in January.

Pooja Patel and Paige Wheeler.Pooja Patel and Paige Wheeler.Senior Paige Wheeler concludes her two-year career with 553 National Forensic League (NFL) points, the most in school history. Frosh Magdalena Yeakey won the award for highest net points in the season, 237.

Earning varsity letters were seniors Wheeler (her second), Sarah Brew, and Pooja Patel; junior Jesse Bontreger; sophomores Parth Patel (his second), and Rachel A. Schrock; and frosh Magdalena Yeakey,
