Fall Sports Information

With summer underway, fall sports are right around the corner, and we are looking forward to a return to the courts and fields. Let’s continue that momentum this fall.
Practice Times

High school practices begin Monday, August 3, for each fall sport. Below is a list of practice schedules. If there are changes, updated schedules will be handed out by coaches at practices.

Middle school fall sports will have two optional days of practice on August 10–11 at 4pm and official practice will begin on Wednesday, August 12, after the first day of school.
Following are the practice times for high school athletics the week of August 3–7:
Cross Country

- Practice: 9:00 am first day
Boys Tennis
- Coach Matt Miller (mlmiller@bethanycs.net)
- Practice: 9:00-12:00
Boys Soccer
- Coach Tony Janzen (tjanzen@bethanycs.net)
- Practice: 8:00-9:00 am, 4:00-5:30
Girls Soccer
- Coach Jordan Miller (coachjmiller@bethanycs.net)
- Practice: 5:00-7:00 pm
Volleyball:
- Coach Dan Adcock
- Practice: TBD
ALL students must have turned in a completed physical form before attending practice; a high school student must have 10 days of practice before participating in a contest. All high school athletes must have a physical turned in before being allowed to practice, so schedule that immediately if you have not done so. Middle school athletes will have until the second week of practice (Aug. 18) to have their physicals completed.
Athletic Physical Evaluation Forms
Parent Meetings:
Attendance at this meeting is mandatory for both players and at least one parent/guardian in order to participate in fall sports. The purpose is to inform both players and parents concerning athletic policies and for coaches to communicate expectations and plans for the coming season. Please note the following meetings, which will take place in the chapel:

High school: Monday, August 3, 6:00 pm, in the chapel
- Middle school: Wednesday, August 12, 5:30pm, in the chapel
