Huntington University is where Bethany Christian soccer standout Stephen Pettifor has signed a letter of intent to begin his collegiate soccer career. His vision and ability to win balls in the air are excellent. This will enable him to make a smooth transition to the physical play and speed of the collegiate game. Stephen is a center midfielder who has the versatility to play all midfield roles simply because he reads the game well and knows when to get forward with penetrating runs in the box."

As a senior captain at Bethany, Stephen scored 12 goals (5 game winners) and 2 assists in helping lead Bethany Christian to a Northern Indiana Soccer Conference title. That production earned him spots on the 1st team all NISC and the Indiana State District II team. Off the field, Stephen will pursue his goals of impacting youth by studying recreation and sports ministries at Huntington University. He is the son of Don and Mary Pettifor.

Huntington University is a Christian liberal arts university located in Huntington, Ind., with an enrollment of approximately 1,000 students. Athletically, Huntington University is a member of the Mid Central Conference (MCC) and competes in fourteen NAIA intercollegiate sports for both men and women.
