We welcome your interest in Bethany Christian Schools. Bethany Christian Schools admits qualified students of any race, color, and national or ethnic origin.

Step 1: Get to know us

We look forward to learning to know your family, and invite you to learn to know our community. Learn about our academic and extra-curricular programming through our website. Contact our admissions director to get more information, schedule a visit, attend an open house, or come to a prospective student visit day.  Also consider registering your child for our UB Bruin Club-- which is created specifically for students in grades 3-5 who are considering attending Bethany.

How to visit the 4th and 5th grades:

Prospective students for 4th and 5th grades visit on special visit mornings--see scheduled opportunities to visit Bethany-- or on individual visit days.  Contact the admissions office if you would like your child to visit the class for a full day on a date that works for you.

Step 2: Complete an online application

Priority Deadline for grades 4-5:  January 31 for following school year

We anticipate that the 4th and 5th grade classes will be fully enrolled, and we expect to have a higher number of qualified applicants than we are able to admit.  For this reason, we have set an application deadline for grades 4 and 5 only (applications for grades 6-11 will still be considered and receive notice of acceptance as they come in.)

Applicants for grades 4 and 5 must complete the application process by January 31 to be considered in the first round of acceptances.  The admissions process includes completing the online application, meeting with the enrollment director and submitting all application materials.  Families will be notified of admissions decisions for the upcoming school year on February 28 and are asked to inform the school of their decision by March 31. Applicants inquiring after January 31 may apply for a second round of acceptances if space remains available in the grade.

Complete an application online

You will be redirected to TADS, a website that handles our online enrollment. Note that an application fee of $50 per student or $75 per family when applying together will be needed in order to complete the online application.

Step 3: Request items

These items are necessary in order to complete the application process. Contact your current school and request the following items be sent to Bethany's admissions office:

  • most recent report card
  • behavior record
  • Students Applying for grade 4: most recent reading test scores such as SRI, DIBELS, NWEA and IREAD-3 scores when available
  • Students applying for grades 5-11: most recent ISTEP or other standardized test scores

Submit to:

Step 4: Submit References

References from a teacher and a close acquaintance are required in order to complete the application process. The online admissions process through TADS will prompt you to print reference forms (or you may do so below) to give to those filling out reference forms on your behalf. They may also fill out the reference online at the link below. Printed forms should be submitted to Bethany's admissions office (see contact information above) or via TADS.

Step 5: Further Questions or Notification of Admissions Status

After the above items have all been received and processed, the admissions office will contact you regarding next steps. The admissions director may request further school records or references, or set a time to meet parents and applicants. Families will be notified of all admissions decisions on February 28 for the upcoming school year and are asked to inform the school of their decision by March 31.

Step 6: Enrollment

Upon acceptance, you will receive an email inviting you to enroll online.  If you have any questions, call or email the admissions office at 574 534-2567 or admissions@bethanycs.net.
