Students follow food from local farm to cafeteria table

On October 28, biology students spent the day doing some hands-on learning at Merry Lea where they butchered chickens and toured the sustainable farm. Later that same week back at Bethany, students helped Tara in the cafeteria prepare the chicken for a farm-to-table meal that students could take home. What a great way to learn about local and sustainable food systems and engage with the farm-to-table process!
