Bethany Christian Forensics Take Honors

In the varsity chamber, senior Josiah Schlabach and sophomore Ian McHugh took third and fourth, respectively.  Schlabach also served as presiding officer.  Sophomore Nico Brenneman-Ochoa served as presiding officer in the novice chamber.
For his efforts on the day, Schlabach earned his fifth National Forensic  League (NFL) degree, Special Distinction.  The NFL is the oldest high school speech and debate honorary society in the United States.
Bethany returns to action next Saturday at Concord.
