Renae Recognized For Her Outstanding Service!

This past Saturday night we recognized Renae Yoder, for her outstanding service to Bethany Bruins Athletics for the past 25 years. Renae has served as official scorer for three of our HS programs; volleyball, and boys and girls basketball for the past 25 years. She has dedicated countless hours to our athletic programs–either keeping the book at our home games, traveling with our teams to keep book on the road, keeping our records book up to date, or simply mentoring our athletes.

Renae is widely considered to be one of the best official scorers in the northern part of the state.  Her attention to detail, command of the table,  and communication skills earns her high praise from her colleagues, coaches, and officials.

Here is what some of her peers had to say:

Gene Teel (basketball official)

“Renea is very professional, but she also just flat out loves what she does”

Milan Vuchenich (volleyball official)

“Her work is immaculate and makes my job easier knowing she is at the table”

KP (basketball coach)

“Renae is an ambassador for Bethany athletics, dedicating 100’s of hours to our basketball and volleyball programs the past 25 years. Renae, you are a class act, and you represent our Bethany community with great pride and service.”

Eric Coburn (basketball official)

“Seeing Renae at the scorer’s table is a great feeling - she is always prepared, professional, and focused.  Great asset to the school.”

Dan Matz (volleyball official)

Always willing to help out with new scorekeepers, teaching the proper way, she has made my job as an official much easier.”

Keith Denlinger (basketball official)

“Her pleasant personality and extreme organization is not something we see in most schools.”

Daniel Mast (basketball coach)

“One word - reliable.  Anything she says she will do will be done at a high level. Thank you for your incredibly reliable work in the athletic programs.”

Kirk Robinson (basketball official)

Kind.  Soft spoken. Fearless. Brave. Strong. Courageous. Faithful.  We should all follow her example.”

Thank you Renae for your 25 years of service to Bethany Athletics!
