The eighth grade Bible class is studying the book of Acts and how the followers of Jesus began to live, act, and serve others "in the name of Jesus." They studied passages of scripture that describe the character of Jesus. They found words like gentle, humble, merciful, powerful, teacher, and loyal. 8th graders then designed a letter for the phrase "in the name of Jesus" that is filled with the characteristics of Jesus.
May this be a reminder that through the power of the Holy Spirit, we can live lives that reflect the character of Jesus.
