Bethany senior, James Lind, received a wonderful gift on December 1. He was awarded a full scholarship to Colby College in Waterville, Maine… worth nearly $350,000! The scholarship was provided through the QuestBridge program which matches high-achieving high school seniors from low-income backgrounds with scholarships from 50 of the nation’s best colleges.
James applied for the program his junior year and completed a national college match application. He was selected as a finalist in October and ranked his selection of 10 colleges, of which Colby selected him as a match. Of over 20,000 applicants to the QuestBridge program this year, only 10% received a match scholarship.
