Alli Hawkins Stiffney Announces Resignation of Varsity Volleyball Coach

We regret to announce the resignation of Alli Hawkins Stiffney, Varsity Volleyball Coach, effective March 17, 2024.

During her three years, Alli has been instrumental in fostering a culture of excellence within our volleyball program. She has not only coached our athletes to numerous victories but has also mentored them to become exemplary individuals both on and off the court.

Reflecting on her time at Bethany, Alli stated, "It has also been such a privilege to coach at my alma mater and to really see what Bethany does as a school and community. I love seeing the way student athletes develop on and off the court and the way relationships are so important to the Bethany community. I have loved being a part of this school and appreciate all that Bethany does for students, staff and our community. I will always be cheering on the Bruins and look forward to seeing the growth of the players I have been so lucky to cross paths with over my time as a coach.”

Gary Chupp, Athletic Director, expressed appreciation for Alli's contributions, saying, "It is with great sadness that I accept Alli's resignation, and I want to thank her for all she has done for Bethany. Alli poured her heart and soul into our volleyball program, both as a player and a coach, and she will be missed."

As Alli departs, the search for a new Varsity Volleyball Coach will begin immediately. The school is committed to finding a candidate who will continue to uphold the standards of excellence and further advance the volleyball program.
