The Soil and The Seed Project to offer free concert and workshop
The Faith Formation Collaborative of Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary (AMBS) in Elkhart, Indiana, is pleased to host The Soil and The Seed Project for a visit to Elkhart County Sept. 9–11.
The Soil and The Seed Project is a community-supported ministry that creates music, art and Little Liturgies to nurture faith in Jesus through the ordinary moments of life. The project has released more than 165 songs; collaborated with more than 100 musicians, artists and poets; and now shares materials freely with people in more than 140 countries.
As part of their visit, project founders Seth Crissman and Greg Yoder will be working with Bethany students during school hours on Wednesday, Sept. 10.
They’ll also offer two events that are free and open to the public:

Wednesday, Sept. 10, 7 p.m., at Sauder Concert Hall, Goshen (Indiana) College
This free concert will feature Seth Crissman and Greg Yoder — founders of The Soil and The Seed Project — as well as local musicians from Bethany Christian Schools, Goshen High School, Goshen College and the Elkhart County area. Teach Me, O LORD: A Faith Formation Workshop for Teachers, Parents, Caregivers, Church Leaders
Thursday, Sept. 11, 8:30–11:30 a.m., at Berkey Avenue Mennonite Fellowship, 2509 Berkey Avenue, Goshen, Indiana
This workshop of The Soil and The Seed Project will build on resources that weave together original music, visual art, prayers and invitations to theological reflection that grow out of the Anabaptist tradition of Christian faith and practice. Children are welcome to attend; childcare and/or child-friendly activities will be available. There is no cost to participate, but registration is encouraged at ambs.edu/soil-and-seed.
