Bethany Christian Schools is pleased to announce that Dan Adcock will join the Bruins athletic department as the next Head Coach for the High School Boys and Girls Cross Country and Track & Field teams, beginning with the spring 2026 Track and Field season.
Dan is a graduate of Westfield High School (IN), where he competed in long jump, high jump, and short- and middle-distance races. He qualified for the IHSAA Regionals with his 4x400m relay team. Dan continued his athletic career at Goshen College, competing in the same events and adding the 400m hurdles. While at Goshen, he was part of the relay team that still holds the indoor 4x200m school record, set in 2004.
“Dan brings the right mix of track experience, passion for the sport, and enthusiasm,” said Gary Chupp, Bethany Christian School’s athletic director. “As a parent of two Bethany students, he already knows and values our community. His energy and vision for track and cross country will help build momentum and excitement for our programs.”
Dan previously served within the Bruins athletic department, helping to launch the middle school Track and Field program in 2021. After stepping away for a few years due to professional obligations, he is eager to return to coaching and to invest in student-athletes once again.
“After several years away, I’m excited to step back into Bethany’s athletic programs,” said Adcock. “Track and cross country have always been a passion of mine, and I’m looking forward to creating an environment where all kids can thrive. I can’t wait to get started.”
Bethany also extends its gratitude to Dallan Troyer, who is stepping away from the Track and Cross Country programs after four years of dedicated service. “I am grateful for all that Dallan poured into our programs and students during his time here,” said Chupp. We wish him the very best in his next chapter.
Go Bruins!
