The Student Government Association and Key Club have partnered for the past ten years to collect toys and food for our neighbors at Waterford Elementary and for families within our own Bethany community. We are excited to join this meaningful effort again—and we need your help more than ever this year!
Our goal is to collect 1,000 food items and 300 toys by Friday, December 12. Donation racks are available each morning at the LS entrance and HS gym entrance, and boxes are also located outside the main office.
Food Drive Items:
Soup, pasta, spaghetti sauce, snacks/crackers, applesauce, macaroni and cheese, peanut butter, pancake mix, cereal, and canned vegetables or fruit.
Toy Drive Items:
Board/card games, sports balls, puzzles, dolls/Barbies, stuffed animals, books, Play-Doh, arts and crafts kits, markers/crayons/colored pencils, and other age-appropriate toys for students in grades K–4.
If you know of a family in need, please contact Juanita (LS) or Lisa (MS/US). As part of this effort, we are extending care to families who would benefit from extra food during the Christmas season. If your family would appreciate a food box, we would be honored to prepare one for you. Please contact Juanita directly by Friday, December 12 and she will reach out to arrange a confidential pick-up time.
We are grateful for the generosity of our community and look forward to sharing this season together.
