During the fall semester the High School Sociology class has been studying the structures on which our society is built. Our next unit is to learn about social problems and how individuals, groups, and institutions work towards making social change.
To kick off this unit our class participated in a service field trip to the Milford Food Bank with Mrs. Christy’s 1st Grade class. Together, these students packaged a palette of bulk popcorn for local families that are experiencing food insecurity in northern Indiana and southern Michigan.
All school year long we have been talking about how we are the NEW WORLD COMING. This service trip is one small way we can be the hands and feet of Christ.
