Congratulations to seventh grader Linden Rothshank on a remarkable artistic achievement. His clay sculpture, Sitting Fox, has been selected for inclusion in the National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts' (NCECA) Annual National K–12 Ceramic Exhibition.
This year’s exhibition juror reviewed over 1,000 entries from across the country before selecting the works to be displayed. Linden’s sculpture will now be featured among the top student ceramic pieces in the nation and viewed by thousands of visitors during the NCECA Conference, held March 25–28 in Detroit.
Being selected places Linden’s work among the top student ceramic pieces in the nation. Way to go!
Opportunities like this highlight the way our fine arts programs nurture student talent—providing the guidance, encouragement, and space needed for creativity to grow.
