Commencement

Bethany Christian Schools celebrated its 71st commencement on Sunday, June 1, 2025, with a class of 25 students.

Head of School, Tim Lehman, welcomed the graduates, friends, and family to the ceremonies followed by a invocation given by Renae Yoder. Memories and hopes for the future were given by student speakers Jacoby Reinhardt and Leah Hochstetler. Carlos Romero, Executive Director at Green Oaks of Goshen, an assisted living community, shared the commencement address with the title of “Hope and Community: The Journey Ahead.” He asked the graduates, “As you journey ahead, don't just chase your goals—build bridges. Lift others. Make room at the table. That's not just success—that's legacy. For a legacy is not about wealth, recognition position or title, is about leaving those whom you life interact with in a better place!” and ended with “Press on. Let go of anything that holds you back. Move forward with courage, walk alongside others, and remember: the God who goes before you is also beside you.”
