Facilities Generalist:

Bethany Christian Schools is looking for a Facilities Generalist. This person would report to the Facilities Director and be responsible for assisting the Facilities Director in all tasks related to building maintenance, cleaning, and grounds maintenance and turf care. Enjoyment and pride in maintaining a facility that is neat, clean, and welcoming for teachers, students, and visitors is important. No two days are the same, so being a self-starter and problem solver is essential. General responsibilities include, but are not limited to, facilities maintenance, vehicle maintenance, custodial services, and maintenance of the exterior buildings and grounds. Skills in the following areas are desirable: carpentry, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general vehicle maintenance.

 

This is a full-time, 1st shift position that requires the use of a personal or School vehicle while conducting School business. Must possess a valid Indiana driver’s license and an acceptable driving record. CDL operator's license is a plus. Must be able to perform physical activities, such as, but not limited to, lifting equipment (up to 50 lbs. unassisted), bending, standing, climbing or walking. Must be able to safely use manual tools and power equipment common in the construction trades. Must be able to complete various trainings and handle hazardous materials safely.

Paraprofessional:

Bethany is searching for a special education paraprofessional to work with teachers and students in a variety of classroom settings around the school. This position is 29.5 hours a week and is being provided through Goshen Community Schools to support our students and staff.  Click on this link to learn more!

Criminal History Background Check: In accordance with Indiana law, Bethany Christian Schools requires an expanded criminal history background check of all applicants for employment. Bethany uses a vendor called L-1 Identity Solutions to conduct the check. L-1 uses fingerprinting to conduct the background search and will charge a fee of approximately $40.
