Bethany's musical production of Oklahoma! is Feb. 21-24, 2013.

 

Set in Oklahoma territory in 1906, this musical depicts the quest for identity of the soon-to-be state, as the farmers and cowboys each seek to stake their claim. At the heart of the story is the rocky romance between Laurey, a farm girl, and Curly, a cowboy. The stage version of this landmark musical includes plenty of singing, dancing, and humor, as well as often-overlooked depth.

 

Tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for students. To ensure a seat, reserve tickets in the school office or call 574 534-2567. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday performances begin at 7:30 p.m. and the Sunday performance at 3 p.m.
