Sound of Music
This much-loved classic will be performed on the 50th anniversary year of its Broadway debut. With recognizable tunes such as "Climb Every Mountain" and "Do-Re-Mi," The Sound of Music tells the true story of the von Trapp family--a story of family, love, and the music that ties it all together.
The story is set in beautiful Salzburg, Austria, at the start of the Nazi occupation, which, incidentally, began exactly 72 years before opening night. With a cast that includes seven children, this show is a great way to give your family (or young friends) an experience of live theater. And yes, the audience will get a chance to sing along!
Show times are 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday. All shows have been sold out.
