About Jonathan Reuel

I was born in Nicaragua and grew up in a family with three sisters. By the time I entered high school I had attended five schools on three continents thanks to travel related to my parents' work in service and education. I studied and played soccer at Central Christian School in Kidron, Ohio. Christa and I were married a year before I graduated from Goshen College with a degree in Art and a passion for songwriting. I worked in graphic design and as a touring musician while Christa finished her art degree at Virginia Commonwealth University. Together we helped launch the Dandelion Seed Company artist network where I served as executive director. After our daughter was born I became a (mostly) stay-at-home dad while working part time as a songwriter and transition coach.

What makes working at Bethany unique or special?

It is a good opportunity to get to know a community important to my daughter's education and growth. And the food is great!

When you aren't working, what can we find you doing?

Reading, cooking, walking, traveling, writing songs and doing art with my family and friends.
